Samettikangas  on ylellinen ja kestävä kangas, joka erottuu pehmeällä, samettisella tekstuurilla ja elegantilla kiillolla. 

Kiitos sen kulutuskestävyyden (80 000 Martindale) , tämä samettikangas sopii erinomaisesti erilaisiin projekteihin, tarjoten sekä kestävyyttä että ylellisyyttä. Se kestää hyvin kulutusta ja säilyttää värinsä ja tekstuurinsa hyvin jopa kovassa käytössä.

Samettikangas on helppohoitoinen – sen voi pestä ja kemiallisesti puhdistaa, ja se sopii myös silittämiseen ja kuivaamiseen.
Sametti on monipuolinen materiaali, jota voidaan käyttää sekä sisustustekstiilien että vaatteiden ja asusteiden ompeluun.
 Tässä on joitakin ideoita, mitä tästä ylellisestä kankaasta voi ommella:

  • Jaketit: Sametista voi ommella tyylikkäitä jakkuja tai takkeja
  • Huonekalujen verhoilu: Sametti on erinomainen valinta tuoleihin, sohviin ja muihin huonekaluihin, joissa tarvitaan kestävää ja eleganttia materiaalia. Se antaa mihin tahansa tilaan viimeistellyn ilmeen.
  • Verhot: Samettikangas tuo tilaan ylellisyyttä ja lämpöä, mikä tekee siitä ihanteellisen raskaisiin, laskeutuviin verhoihin, jotka eivät ainoastaan koristele vaan myös tarjoavat hyvän ääni- ja valoneristyksen.
  • Juhlamekot: Sametti sopii erinomaisesti erityistilaisuuksiin. Juhlamekoissa tai siroissa hameissa se luo ylellisen ja hienostuneen ilmeen.
  • Kassit ja asusteet: Sametti sopii myös erilaisten kassien, laukkujen tai muiden asusteiden ompeluun, sillä se tuo esineisiin luksuksen tuntua.
Vinkkejä ompeluun: Työskenneltäessä samettikankaan kanssa suositellaan käyttämään erityisiä ompeluneuloja, esimerkiksi Universal-neuloja koossa 80/12 , joiden avulla neula liukuu helposti kankaan läpi.
