SCHMETZ DPX17 SUK industrial sewing machine needles are designed for sewing with straight-stitch (lockstitch) industrial sewing machines. “SUK” or Medium Ball Point tip is moderately rounded, gently separating threads without damaging the fabric structure. These needles are especially suitable for knitwear, denim and corsetry where elasticity and a smooth stitch are required.

  • Medium-weight to heavy denim (e.g., stone-washed, sand-washed)
  • Coarse knits – knitwear with a thick and elastic structure.
  • Ideally suited for corset making (especially with finer needles).
